Software Download

Inside the Tick2Tick Dashboard, click Downloads in the navigation bar, or visit the page directly.
This page contains all openly accessible software and tools that you can download and use with Tick2Tick Services and Products.

These tools are powerful because they use our Sierra Chart Integration, allowing you to interact with Tick2Tick Services directly inside Sierra Chart, there is no exporting or importing of data between platforms.

Custom Studies​

Overview of the Custom Studies​

These Sierra Chart Custom Studies are designed to make working with our Statistics Products significantly easier.

Each Custom Study includes:

  • Sierra Chart Version
    The Sierra Chart version we tested and recommend for the Custom Study.
    You may use the Study with any higher Sierra Chart version at your own discretion, but the listed version is the minimum required.
    Example: If the Study lists version 2807, it will work with 2807 and above, but not with 2806 or below.

  • Study Name
    The name of the Custom Study as it appears in Sierra Chart.

  • Study Version
    The internal version of the Custom Study.
    Important: Tick2Tick Statistics Products require the latest version of the T2T Statistics – Signal Uploader Custom Study.
    Sierra Chart will warn you if you attempt to use an incompatible version.

How to install the Custom Studies​

Clicking the Download button will download the .dll file for the selected Custom Study.

Important notes:

  • Depending on your browser settings, the file may download automatically to your default download folder, or your browser may ask where to save it.
  • To use the Custom Study, the .dll file must be placed in your Sierra Chart installation’s Data folder.

Examples​

  • Example 1: Browser asks where to save the file
    When prompted, navigate to your Sierra Chart Data folder and save it there.
    Example path:
    C:\Programs\SierraChart\Data

  • Example 2: Browser downloads automatically
    If your browser saves files to your default Downloads folder (e.g.,
    C:\Users\Tick2TickUser\Downloads\), then manually copy the .dll file into:
    C:\Programs\SierraChart\Data

After placing the .dll files into the Data folder, launch Sierra Chart.

How to add a Custom Study to a Chart in Sierra Chart​

After you have downloaded the Custom Study .dll file and placed it into your Sierra Chart Data folder, you can add the Study to a chart.

You can always refer to the official Sierra Chart documentation for Advanced Custom Studies here, but the process is summarized below.

  1. Start Sierra Chart

    • Launch Sierra Chart normally.
    • Open the Chart or Chartbook where you want to use the Custom Study.

  2. Open the Studies window

    • In the top menu, click Analysis → Studies
      (Alternatively, right‑click on the chart and select Studies.)

  3. Find the Custom Study

    • Click the Add Custom Study button and the list of Custom Studies you have will show up.

  4. Add the Custom Study to the chart

    • Select the desired Custom Study from the list.
    • Click Add.
    • The Study will appear in the Studies to Graph list on the right.

  5. Configure Study settings (optional but recommended)

    • With the Study selected in Studies to Graph, click Settings or double click the Custom Study's name.
    • Adjust inputs, parameters, and display options according to your needs and Tick2Tick’s product documentation.
    • Click OK to save the settings.

  6. Apply and close

    • In the main Studies window, click OK or Apply.
    • The Custom Study will now be active and visible on your chart.

If the Study does not appear in the list:

  • Confirm that the .dll file is in the correct Data folder used by your Sierra Chart installation.
  • Restart Sierra Chart after copying the file.
  • Then repeat the steps above.

Demo Chartbooks​

Overview of Demo Chartbooks​

Demo Chartbooks demonstrate how to use our Sierra Chart Integrations.
They download the same way as Custom Studies, but the file format is .cht (Sierra Chart Chartbook).

These Chartbooks are pre‑built, allowing you to:

  • Test the integration immediately
  • Explore how everything works
  • Modify the Chartbook to fit your workflow

How to install the Demo Chartbooks​

The installation process is identical to Custom Studies:

  • If your browser asks where to save the file, choose your Sierra Chart Data folder
    Example:
    C:\Programs\SierraChart\Data

  • If the file downloads to your default Downloads folder, copy it manually into the Sierra Chart Data folder
    Example:
    From: C:\Users\Tick2TickUser\Downloads\
    To: C:\Programs\SierraChart\Data

Once the .cht file is in the Data folder, open Sierra Chart and load the Chartbook from the File → Open Chartbook menu.
