Comparing Requests
This page explains how two Statistics Requests can be compared side-by-side. This feature is essential for spotting trends and tracking the impact of small logic adjustments between different simulations.
Opening the Comparison Page
To compare two strategies side-by-side, navigate to the My Statistics Requests page and follow these steps:
- Select Requests: Click the checkbox on the left side of the two Request rows you wish to compare.
- Initiate Comparison: Click the Compare button located at the top of the data grid.
- Analyze: You will be navigated to a dedicated comparison page where metrics from both requests are overlaid for easy analysis.

Equity Curves
The primary view plots the combined (Short and Long direction) Equity Curves of both selected Statistics Requests on a single chart. This allows you to visualize the difference in growth and DrawDowns between the two strategies in real-time.
The Equity Curves maintain chronological distance. This means that if there is a longer period with no active Trades, the chart will reflect this with a horizontal "gap" or flat line to accurately represent the passage of time.
Side-by-Side Analysis
For a deeper dive, the two Requests are presented in a two-column layout labeled Request 1 and Request 2. This allows you to compare the following components directly:
- Summary Cards: High-level performance metrics.
- RR Cloud Charts: Time-of-day performance bubbles.
- Hourly RR Charts: Hourly average profitability.
- Aggregated Results in USD: Performance over specific time blocks.
- Setup Size - Sum RR: Performance filtered by trade size.
- Pie Charts: Win/Loss and Entry/No-Entry ratios.
- Distributions of Trade RRs: Histogram of risk-reward frequency.
- Statistics Settings: A direct comparison of the parameters used for each simulation.
To see a detailed explanation of what each of these charts and summaries represents, please refer to the Viewing a Request's Details documentation.
