Features

This document provides an overview of the key Tick2Tick Statistics features.
Each feature has its own dedicated documentation page - this section serves as a high‑level summary.

Statistics Request Settings

Tick2Tick offers a comprehensive set of Settings that define how your Signals should be traded. These include:

  • Trading Window – Specify the time of day your strategy is active.
Includes customizable Trading Breaks, allowing pauses due to workflow needs or market volatility (e.g., around market open).

  • Target Distribution – Configure up to three Target levels for your Trades and define how Risk should be distributed across them.

  • Risk Settings – Set the USD or Quantity risk per Trade and define your Round‑Turn Commission for accurate cost modeling.

  • Concurrency Rules – Control whether multiple Trades may run simultaneously and define maximum allowed Trades, Risk, or Quantity at any given time.

  • Stop Management – Configure various Break‑Even rules and specify when and how your Stop should move based on Bars, Percentages, or Target achievements.

Simulating and Calculating Results

Our Statistics Servers create a dedicated Simulation Environment for each Statistics Request:

  1. Load tick‑ or trade‑level market data for the selected Instruments within the requested timespan.
  2. Match your submitted Signals to the Simulation Environment’s market data.
  3. Apply all Settings you provided.
  4. Simulate and calculate how your strategy would have performed during the selected period.
  5. Store detailed per‑Trade Results, aggregated summaries, DrawDown calculations, and more in our database.

Decision Making

Most visualizations and data tables are fully filterable, enabling dynamic exploration of your strategy’s behavior.
This helps you identify actionable insights, such as:

  • Time periods where trading is more or less favorable
  • Setup Sizes that perform well—and those that should be avoided
  • Detailed bar‑by‑bar Trade behavior through our Statistics - Trade Visualization Product, showing:
    • When Stops are moved
    • When Targets are reached

These insights help you refine your Signal creation process and strengthen your strategy.

Exporting

All Results from your Statistics Requests can be exported in two formats:

Excel

Export all Signals, DrawDowns, and Summaries into a structured Excel file.
This allows seamless integration with tools like Power BI or other analytics platforms for further analysis.
